Hello. My name is Jesse Taylor and I was born and raised in
Houston, Texas. I have always been a goal oriented person. My
parents can attest that ever since I was little, if I set out to do
something, it was going to be accomplished. This is perhaps
why the military seemed to be a good fit for me. I like structure
and schedules, and I have always been very disciplined.

I spent two years in officer's
training and learned a lot. It
has helped me be a better
person in all areas of my
life.

Though my life is very
structured, I do know how to have fun. I
enjoy scuba diving and being out on the
water skiing or riding my boat around the
lake. My friends and I like to race our jet
skis too. It is a lot of fun, but we always
make sure to be aware of other people.

Living on the lake makes my life a lot more
relaxing. Being in the military can be quite
stressful at times with all of the traveling I
have to do. It is nice to be able to come
home and fish off of my pier or just sit on on
the deck and watch the water.

Before I went into the military, I started a
construction company. I am very blessed to have
had the opportunity. I often donate my time to
community projects like Habitat for Humanity or help
my church out when there is a natural disaster like a
hurricane. I realize that my business is not
flourishing just for my benefit, but for the benefit of
others too.

I enjoy going on mission trips as well. This summer I
am going to Honduras to help a team from my
church build an addition on a medical clinic. It is
such a blessing to be a part of a church that likes to
help people. It is so amazing to see God work in the
lives of people around the world.
So now we can rejoice in our
wonderful new relationship with God
because our lord Jesus Christ has
made us friends of God.
Romans 5:11
Jesus is my first love and I do my very
best to never put anything before Him
or above Him. I make it a point to not
worry about my future because I know
God has a plan for my life. The bible
says in Jeremiah 29:11-14 that we look
for God with all of our heart, we will find
Him. His plans for our lives are not for
disaster but for hope.

We can be sure of this, that God is
bigger than any situation or problem we
could ever encounter. He is more
powerful than anyone and His love is
unfailing. The more we read the bible
and pray, the closer we become to God
and the more we know His heart.
Being in the military, I have seen a lot
of broken people and a lot of
destruction around the world. It never
ceases to amaze me how many people
are in need of help. No matter where I
am, I make sure that I always have a
bible with me. I enjoy sharing the hope
that is in Christ with the people I meet.

This is why it is very important to know
what you believe and why you believe
it. There are always going to be people
in your life who will oppose your beliefs
or challenge them. The bible says in 2
Timothy that we are to be ready in
season and out of season for
response. I like to read books on
apologetics literally means "a
systematic argument of defense for a
belief." I also pray that God will give me
wisdom when speaking to other
people. I want to make sure that I
speak His words in His timing.
When I was young I was known as a rebel, but
thanks to God I am not a rebel anymore.  I respect
authority and believe that God has placed people in
positions to lead and guide us. Romans 13:1 says
"Everyone must submit himself to the governing
authorities, for there is no authority except that which
God has established. The authorities that exist have
been established by God."
He who loves a pure heart
and whose speech is
gracious will have the king

Proverbs 22:11
I belong to the JTeam, and not long ago we were asked to be a part of a charity ball at the
conservatory. We were all so honored to be a part of the event. God has truly blessed us as a
team to be able to speak with ambassadors from around the world, and help a lot of hurting
people. We are all reminded of what God's heart is truly about when we reach out to the people
around us and meet them right in the middle of their need. Jesus says in Matthew 25:40 that
whatever we do unto the least of these, we have done unto Him. To be a part of the JTeam is do
life with people who care about reaching the "least of these," the people that are all around us
and all around the world who need help and the hope that is only found in Jesus.
The night of the ball I got some awesome pictures with some of my teammates. In the above
pictures is Sharla Dalley (left). She is and incredible friend. On the right is Maria Molena Delgado.
Doesn't she look amazing!

Below is Daniel Highcloud (left) and Jamal Abby (right). They are two of my best buds. We have
shared a lot of fun times and great memories. We had such an great time at the charity ball.
They call me the leader of the JTeam because my primary gift is wisdom. It is important that we
pray for the ability to make wise choices. God tells us how wisdom can help us understand Him
in Proverbs 2:1-6:
"My son, if you accept my words and store up my commands within you,
turning your ear to wisdom and applying your heart to understanding, and if you call out for
insight and cry aloud for understanding, and if you look for it as for silver and search for it as for
hidden treasure, then you will understand the fear of the LORD and find the knowledge of God.
For the LORD gives wisdom, and from his mouth come knowledge and understanding."
There is
no other way we can understand the things of God without wisdom and knowledge. It is a vital
part of our Christian walk that we seek wisdom from godly people and that we pray for God to
impart wisdom to us as we study His Word.
Wisdom is important for battle as well. Being in
the military has made me depend on God like
never before. I trust Him with my life and that HE
will always keep me safe. Because He has
imparted the gift of wisdom, I have been able to
make some pretty tough calls in complete confidence that He was with me through it all. Though I
have fought in physical battles, there is also a war that is raging all around us in the spiritual
realm. In 2 Corinthians 10:2-4, Paul tells us that the weapons we fight with are not the same as
the world's weapons, but they are weapons to tear down strongholds. The bible also tells us that
we do not fight against flesh and blood, but against principalities of darkness. We need godly
wisdom to know how to fight and protect what God is doing in our lives.

My friends are some of the greatest men
and women of God I have ever met. They
are always seeking to do His will and
always available to help people who are in
need. We always encourage each other
with scripture or with prayer. I know that if I
am ever going through a tough time or
situation, that I can count on my friends to
be right there with me.
"For though we live in the world, we
do not wage war as the world does.
The weapons we fight with are not the
weapons of the world. On the
contrary, the have divine power to
demolish strongholds. We demolish
arguments and every pretension that
sets itself up against knowledge of
God, and we take captive every thought
to make it obedient to Christ."

2 Corinthians 10:3-5 (NIV)
When it comes to defending our country,
we take orders and carry them out.  We
pick up arms or weapons as we are
instructed.  However, when it comes to
the spiritual realm, God expects us to do
fight against an enemy that we cannot
see, through our faith in Jesus. Make no
mistake, we are at war, but we are not to
lay a hand on or bring harm to any person
over spiritual matters. Love is our primary
weapon. Serving is our primary defense.

The bible says that we are to love our
enemies and pray for the people that
persecute us. It is God's wisdom that
helps us to know exactly what to say and
when to say it. God is more than able to
come to our rescue when we are in need
of help, and there are two key things to
remember. First, we have to hide His
Word in our hearts. That means to study it,
grasp it, and meditate on it. That way
when we need to use it we are ready.
Second, we have to remember that the
Holy Spirit is with us at all times. He is an
ever-present help in our time of need.
These are the weapons we use to fight
Satan and against anything he could throw
at us.
I am proud to serve a country that
was founded on the belief that God
is our source of freedom. It is a great
honor to serve along side men and
women who are willing to lay down
their lives to keep that freedom.
This section is to explain what the
character's outfit symbolizes.
Wisdom's Costume
Ephesians 6:10-18
"Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.  Put on the
whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.  For we
do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against
the rulers of the darkness of this age,  against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the
heavenly places.  Therefore take up the
whole armor of God, that you may be able to
withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.  Stand therefore, having
girded
your waist with truth,
having put on the breastplate of righteousness,  and having shod
your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
above all, taking the shield of faith
with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one.  And take the
helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God;  praying
always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all
perseverance and supplication for all the saints-- "
1 Corinthians 2:6-16
However, we speak wisdom among those who are mature, yet not the wisdom of this age, nor of the
rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing.  But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, the
hidden wisdom which God ordained before the ages for our glory,  which none of the rulers of this
age knew; for had they known, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.  But as it is written:
"Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has
prepared for those who love Him."  But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit
searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.  For what man knows the things of a man except the
spirit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God.
Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know
the things that have been freely given to us by God.  These things we also speak, not in words which
man's wisdom teaches but which the Holy  Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual.
But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him;
nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.  But he who is spiritual judges all
things, yet he himself is rightly judged by no one.  For "who has known the mind of the Lord that he
may instruct Him?"  But we have the mind of Christ.

Any believer can walk in the gifts of the Holy Spirit, not just the JTeam Cartoons or any one person.  The gifts are for all believers.
The JTeam is fictional, the gifts of the Holy Spirit are real and the scriptures of the Bible are true.
