Hey, my name is Nicko Askelopos.  I am from Greece
and I have a VERY big family. I have six brothers and
five sisters and we are very close. We are all very
involved in our church which is like extended family
for us. Our church has about 5,000 members locally.

The Belt - represents the belt of truth.

I Peter 1:19-21
" And we have the word of the prophets made more certain, and you will do well to pay
attention to it, as to a light shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning
star rises in your hearts.  Above all, you must understand that no prophecy of Scripture
came about by the prophet's own interpretation.  For prophecy never had its origin in the
will of man, but
men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit."

Rev. 19:10
"At this I fell at his feet to worship him. But he said to me, "Do not do it! I am a fellow
servant with you and with your brothers who hold to the testimony of Jesus.
Worship
God! For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy."

Acts 19:1-6
"
While Apollos was at Corinth, Paul took the road through the interior and arrived at
Ephesus. There he found some disciples  and asked them, "Did you receive the Holy Spirit
when you believed?" They answered, "No, we have not even heard that there is a Holy
Spirit." So Paul asked, "Then what baptism did you receive?" "John's baptism," they
replied.  Paul said, "John's baptism was a baptism of repentance. He told the people to
believe in the one coming after him, that is, in Jesus.
" On hearing this, they were
baptized into the name of the Lord Jesus.  When Paul placed his hands on them, the Holy
Spirit came on them, and they spoke in tongues and prophesied."
Loving people doesn't make you weak, it is actually what makes you strong. It
takes a lot of guts to make the choice to love. It takes a decision to live a
committed life to God everyday, and devotion to Christ. We must be deeply in
tune with His Word. You have to stand up for what is right no matter what the
people around you may say or do. That is what the Christian walk is all about.
I take my Christian walk very seriously because I know the purpose God has
placed on me, but that does not mean life can't be fun...I love to have fun!  I am
crazy for the beach and the waves-- when I can find them. I also like to ride jet
skis with my friends. They are great and I love to share my time with them. We
like to hang out and play games and we love volleyball.  As a group we also love
to be apart of outreaches. That is where we get to give things to people for free.
Sometimes it is food or water, and there have been times we have given out
chap-stick or sunscreen at water parks. Giving people free stuff always surprises
them, because most people wonder what the 'catch' is. There is no 'catch'.
I always try to be transparent. That means I try to be completely honest with
others so they can see right through me and see my heart for God. Being
honest and straight forward is the only way to do this. The bible says in
Proverbs 16:13 that God values people who speak truth. This is hard to do
sometimes because my human-ness wants to cover things up or not be fully
exposed to people. Our walk with God demands truthfulness, especially when
doing life with others.
Disclaimers:
When you pray, you will not dawn a superhero costume.  And you can't fly with out the aid of a plane or glider.
Any believer can walk in the gifts of the Holy Spirit, not just the JTeam Cartoons or any one person.  The gifts
are for all believers.
The JTeam is fictional, the gifts of the Holy Spirit are real and the scriptures of the Bible are true.
The Christian Church
family is global.  It is
something we can not
afford to forget.  We
need to encourage
each other and love
each other.  Of course
our love is not
reserved for just
Christian family.
As Christians we are commanded by God
to Love one another, but ALSO to Love
our enemies. Jesus said in Luke 3:35,

"Love your enemies, do good to them,
and lend to them without expecting to
get anything back. Then your reward will
be great, and you will be sons of the
Most High, because he is kind to the
ungrateful and wicked."
THIS makes us
HARD CORE Christians. It is not easy to
love everyone, but with God's help we
can. In John 13:33-35 God commands us
to love one another as He has loved us.
His love is found in forgiveness, it is
shown in simple acts of serving, and in
the kind words we speak to others. God
has shown these things to us, and we
should do the same. His mercy and grace
and forgiveness are like so valuable its
ridiculous and we need to share them.
"Judge not, and you shall not be judged.
Condemn not, and you shall not be
condemned. Forgive, and you will be
forgiven."  Luke 6:3

I want to take a moment to mention the cartoon clips that the JTeam has made and let you know
that I am NOT the person singing on those clips.  The musical talents of Toby Mac and Nate Sallie
are featured because they fit in introducing us to the world as a group of characters.  I am a fan of
both of them personally.  You can find a link to both of the Christian musical artists at the bottom of
this page.  They both rock and I encourage you to check them out if you haven't already.  Buy their
CD's and let you know you love them!    When our movie or series is made you will hear me sing my
own tunes.  It is a day I look forward to greatly!!!
One of my biggest test was to know
this life that I live is not all about me.
Being on stage and in the spotlight a
lot makes this so hard, but the God
that is in me is stronger than anything
of this world. When I realized this truth,
I began to serve others more. By doing
this, my spirit man grew stronger. My
past became something I share to
encourage others that they can do it
too.
I have been serving the Lord for quite
a while and I still have a good deal of
things to learn.  Patience is one of
the fruits that I choose to walk in. I
will never be perfect until I am in
Heaven, and I will always need God
to set me straight when I get off
course. That is how awesome God's
mercy and grace are. No matter what I
do, I will always be loved by Him.
I love to read and study the bible. Word
studies are cool because I can trace the
meaning of the word back to its original
meaning in the original language. I like
this because I can learn more about
Greek culture and language which is like
family history for me.
I like to used study tools like a
concordance or commentaries when I
study because they help me
understand God's word. One thing I
ALWAYS do before I read the Bible is
pray. I pray that God would speak to
me through His Word, that he would
give me direction and understanding
because apart from Him I can't
understand the principles He has
written.
I find that everything we say or do,
begins and ends with how we see God.
How we perceive God will dictate every
action, thought and decision we make
for the rest of our lives. It will affect us,
our kids and our grandchildren. You
have to know who God is. We do this
by listening to pastors and godly
teachers, always making sure that we
balance what THEY say against what the
BIBLE says. The Holy Spirit is who
reveals truth to us through the Word of
God. Romans 10:17 says that we know
God's word because we read and hear
it.

Being a Christian is work. It is important
to know what you believe. We can't
depend on other people to know the
bible for us. We have to dive in and ask
God to ruin us with His word. That it
would be written on our hearts.
Being grounded in a great church is so vital
to growing as a Christian. It is important
that what the pastor and teachers talk
about line up with what the bible says.
Always let the Holy Spirit lead and guide
you in truth and in all decisions that you
make.
Here are some pictures of me
and my team members. Above

the harp is Nina. These guys
along with my other teammates
form the JTeam.

We believe that prayer is a key
part of what we do. Prayer is
mandatory to have a
relationship with God. God
honors prayer and petition. It
is like a conversation between
our heart and God's will. When
we pray with others, there is
an agreement that takes place.
It says in Matthew 18:20,
"Where two or three are
gathered in my name, I am
there among them."
These are a great group of friends.
You should make sure you are
surrounded by good Christian friends.
Below is Jamal Abby.  He is a great
guy, a very smart man and well
respected.  He knows many ambassa-
dors and people in other countries.
Christian friends are important.  If you
don't have a group of Christian friends,
ask God to bring some into your life.
Don't settle for anyone that calls them-
selves Christians. Check out their fruit.
Do they serve anywhere? Who do they
serve?  Are the people they serve just
for 'show'. Remember, if someone is
serving to make themselves look good,
then that is not true service. Surround
yourself with people who are genuine,
honest and true to God.  Being a
Christian isn't a social club. It is about
reaching out to people in a most
genuine and real way. May your friends
be 'servers', 'builders', 'givers'
and may they be the type of people
that reach out to others in need.
I have been sharing a lot of what God
has taught me about the Christian faith
and what it means to truly serve Him.
God is always number one to me and I
desire that the person that I marry has
the same priority.

I kinda like a girl right now, but I am
very careful of how I am around her. I
don't put on a show for her. I am honest
and truthful just like I am with anyone
else. I want her to know me for who I
am. I don't like guys that put on front to
get a girl, and I certainly won't do that.

I believe that making a decision about a wife is just as serious, if not more
serious, than the time put into education for a career. A lot of thought, effort
and prayer should be put into it. I made sure that I am secure in my
relationship in Christ. I make seeking God and his will the most important thing
to me. I pray for guidance and direction. I also pray that she has the same call
on her life that I do.

It is important that if we begin to date, that we both have accountability
partners. Boundaries are very important to me, and accountability is the only
way that boundaries work. I pray that God will be strong in us.

One thing we do is go to group events that allow us to interact and listen. It is
important that we are never alone or in a situation that would lead to
compromise. It is just not worth it to us. We trust God and keep a tight
relationship with Him.  "Acknowledge HIM in ALL your ways, and HE will show
you your path."  Proverbs 3:6

I will keep you posted on how it goes with me and the girl I like, but we are
just in the praying stages.  We both want to know it is God's will for us to be
together, so we wait in patience for His timing and direction.

The bible says in Philippians 4:6 "Be anxious for nothing,
but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving,
let your requests be made known to God;"
This section is to explain what
the character's outfit
symbolizes:
Prophecy's Costume
The color White -
White is without
influence of
personality. It's
luminance bears
only the stark
truth.  It can
be seen if
only by the
slightest

It also

The cape -
Represents regal presence
from the throne as an heir.
The cape flows in the wind,
